Olympus Media was formed in Orlando, FL in August, 2004 with a management team headed by James McLaughlin. The goal of the company was to build a competitive outdoor advertising company through acquisition and development. The first acquisition was made in November, 2004 and it consisted of 94 faces in Northern Georgia and metro Atlanta. Within the next few months, several more acquisitions were made in Northern Georgia so the decision was made to relocate the corporate offices to Atlanta. This was done in June of 2005 and we have continued to increase our presence in Georgia with numerous additional acquisitions.

Subsequent acquisitions were made in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri and Tennessee as the company expanded outside of Georgia. Olympus has grown from the original 94 faces to over 2100 faces at the beginning of 2008. We have also grown from the founding eight people in 2004 to almost 50 employees. We continue to look for new growth opportunities through acquisitions, lease development, and new technology.

Olympus installed the first 14 x 48 LED unit in the Atlanta metro area in September, 2006 on the I-75 / I- 85 connector across from Turner Field. Since then, we have added LED units near several major shopping malls and lead the outdoor industry in number of LED displays in metro Atlanta.

We take pride in serving our customers efficiently and professionally, and our team understands all of the fine distinctions that come with building a competitive outdoor operation. Our employees have the experience, leadership and vision to make Olympus Media one of the truly outstanding companies of the new millennium.
